It’s hard to get tired of this guy: his music, his voice and the passion he puts in every performance is admirable and hardly seen anywhere else. Authentic emotion and raw naked vocals set this guy apart form the rest. In my opinion one of the most gifted singer song writers nowadays. If you are into folk music with the touch and electricity of rock and roll a la Pete Yorn, David Gray, or even Springsteen you’ll love Van Valentine’s Latest album “Tristeza”. check it out on itunes or your favorite store it is trully a masterpiece.

One of my favorite up and coming bands currently working on their debut album. Keep an eye on these guys their music is great, a very cool mash up between electronica and guitar driven rock with great hooks that stick like gum against pavement at noon.

Yesterday I shot some pics for somvazio another cool band from Puerto Rico’s west rock scene . The photoshoot took place in a construction site in Hatillo near #2 Road. The guys were real troopers. I even make them stand on nasty / bio hazard kind of water they even got real close to some ledges that were still in bricks and were kinda unsafe i’ll say. They did a great job overall the images came out great.
