Changing the tempo here just came back from San Juan after covering The Killers concert at Coliseo de Pueto Rico for Spinearth.tv (more on that soon). But before getting to my hometown Aguadilla, Jose David Perez told me that he had a gig that night something different , something lounger, and more relax. So i said “Cool… I’ll be there.” It was the birthday celebration of David’s girlfriend Jeh and the tiny ensemble composed of Amed Irizarry, Antonio Caraballo,Ariel Robles and José David himself fired up the small club on Piñero Ave. The music was self explanatory cool grooves, hot jazz licks all put together in a very modern fashion.
